Hi, my name is Juan.

I’m a security-focused full stack engineer working in London. 🇬🇧

I’m a Python expert, with years of deep Django & Flask experience, though these days I reach for FastAPI more often than not. 🐍

I love building web and mobile applications. I have worked on full scale apps using both Angular and React. Lately I’m just as happy reaching for HTMX and letting the server do the work. 📐

The parts of the job I care most about are the ones that make a whole team faster: tooling that gets out of the way, a test suite short enough that people actually run it, and CI that tells you the truth. Most of what I write here comes out of that. ⚡️

I love thinking with a security-first, defensive mindset with everything I code. 🔐

I’ve worked for companies huge and small, and I once had a proper go at getting my own startup off the ground.
